The Ragdale Ring is an annual competition that focuses on building a temporary performance space that houses summer concerts, performances, and events. In a team-collaborative work, our submission project titled FRAMES highlights the articulation of perception, with multiple arrangements and uses, reconstructing how one engages with Ragdale’s art, and its historic surrounding environment. The mobility theme is defined through versatility, transparency, and reconfigurability of FRAMES, creating functional, visual, and physical mobility.

COMPOSITION
Three right triangles form a welded steel framework that holds inset mirrors. Hooks attached to the frame enable the hammock mesh to be taken on and off as necessary. The materials are durable and replaceable, but embrace wear as tell of their performative use.
